Brent Minet has been a part of the Buffalo music scene ever since he was 14 years old. He has performed with many artists across most genres of music ranging from classical to jazz and pop. Brent plays a wide array of instruments, however specializes in piano and organ. Brent is a composer and arranger.

He has composed and arranged music ranging from solo instruments to symphonic band. Brent is also a music educator who has taught students from preschool age to college age. Currently Brent is a music teacher for the South Buffalo Catholic Schools at Notre Dame Academy and Trinity Catholic Academy.

Brent has performed in many venues through the Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Rochester areas. Brent has even performed in Ontario on some occasions. Brent has performed on a wide variety of recording sessions some of which include the album “Soul Shoes” featuring James Anthony which has been nominated for Canada’s Juno Award and several tracks with Chris Murphy from London Ontario.


Brent also gives private music instruction in piano, organ, theory, jazz theory, composition and arranging. Brent Minet has a true love for music and finds so much satisfaction in sharing what he knows with other artists.


Brent Minet also performs with as many artists as he can. The more people you play with the better you will become as a performing artist. Currently Brent performs regularly with Brent and the Accutones, Soul Committee and Maria Aurigema. Brent also plays piano for the contemporary service and organ for the tradditional service at First United Methodist Church in North Tonawanda, New York.

Brent Minet holds BA in music and is currently working on his MA from the State University College at Buffalo and he holds to certifications in Orff Schulwerk from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.
